A good amount of Capital and resources has been allocated to our Warehouse Management System.  It uses state of the art Client / Server Based Software along with handheld wireless  scan guns, to keep track of raw materials and final shipping info.

Once sales orders have been keyed into the system we’re now ready to receive in raw materials for the Sales Order.

We scan all raw products into the WMS when they hit the receiving dock door, and assign them locations in the warehouse.  During any part of the production phase of  operations, real time inventory readings can be taken from any PC in the plant.

When a job is scheduled to the floor for production, the locations of the raw materials are pulled up either on a PC or the hand held device, and the warehouse team member can go to that specific location and pull it for production.

Once a job has completed,  the Sales order is finalized, and the finished good is scanned in the shipping department prior to it leaving.

This WMS allows us to better control materials throughout the production process and ensures great record keeping of incoming / outgoing materials.
